Indo- Israel Film & Cultural Forum

In 2009, ICMEI and the Embassy of Israel in India took a significant step by forming the Indo-Israeli Cultural Forum. The forum's primary objective is to promote cultural exchange and enrich a deeper understanding between India and Israel. To lead this forum, Ms. Shoshana Haim of the Cultural Affairs Department of the Embassy nominated Prof. Sandeep Marwah as the Chairperson. This appointment highlights the trust and confidence that both countries have in Prof. Marwah's ability to steer the forum towards its goals. By facilitating the exchange of artists, organizing screenings of Israeli and Indian films in each other's countries, and establishing links between the film industries of the two nations, the forum aims to strengthen the bond between India and Israel.
