Indo-DPR Korea Film & Cultural Forum

The Indo-DPR Korea Film and Cultural Forum was inaugurated in March 2023 by H.E. Choe Hui Chol, the Ambassador of DPR Korea, who appointed Sandeep Marwah as the Chair of the Forum. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and the Korea Film Agency, paving the way for upcoming joint film productions. During the 11th Global Festival of Journalism in 2023, three documentaries-Songam Caves, Rimyongsu Falls, and Children's Dreams and Mother's Happiness-were screened. Plans are underway for a festival of films from DPR Korea, which will feature four Korean films.
